About

A studio that builds what it sells.

Prompt Information Technology exists because most 'modern' websites are static brochures wearing a fresh coat of paint. A premium website should behave like a product: quick to load, clear about what it wants you to do, and still working when nobody is watching the dashboard.

This site is our own build. The logo that comes apart as you scroll, the assistant in the corner — they run the same stack we hand to clients. If it doesn't hold up here, we don't ship it on your site.

We're intentionally boutique: founder-led, with a small number of projects at a time, so you work directly with the person designing and building it — not handed off to whoever is free that week.

Meet the team

The person you'll actually be working with.

Prompt IT is deliberately small. That means no handoffs, and no wondering who is really building your site.

Ra'ees Dalwai

I started Prompt IT after watching too many good South African businesses get let down by websites that looked dated the day they launched — slow, templated, and forgotten a month later.

Every project here is built by me. That's deliberate: you get the person who designs it, writes the code, and answers the email when something needs changing. No handoffs, no account manager translating what you meant.

The AI and real-time 3D work is the part I enjoy most — but only when it earns its place. Most businesses need a fast, clear site done properly, and I'd rather tell you that than sell you something impressive you don't need.

How we work

Four things you can hold us to.

01

You talk to the builder

No account managers, no relay. The person answering your email is the person writing the code.

02

Fixed price, agreed up front

Every build is scoped and quoted before work starts. No hourly billing, and no invoice you didn't see coming.

03

Honest about fit

If AI or 3D won't earn its place on your project, we'll say so. A smaller build that works beats a large one that doesn't.

04

Nothing locked in

You own the finished site outright. Maintenance is optional, month to month, and we hand over cleanly if you leave.

What we don't do

Being clear about this saves us both time, and it's why the projects we do take on go well.

  • Template sites assembled from a page builder and handed over as bespoke work.
  • Cheapest-quote-wins projects. We're not the lowest price, and competing on that would compromise the build.
  • Ongoing retainers you can't leave. Maintenance is month to month, always.
  • Work we can't stand behind — if it's outside what we do well, we'll say so and point you elsewhere.

If that sounds like the way you'd rather work, say hello.

A first conversation costs nothing and commits you to nothing. Tell us what you're considering and we'll tell you honestly whether we're the right studio for it.
